The Munay-Ki are the nine great rites of initiation of the medicine way. The word munay means “I love you” or “BE AS THOU ART.” The Munay-Ki are the nine rites of initiation to become a person of wisdom and power who has accepted the stewardship for all creation. These rites are common to all Shamanic traditions, even though they are expressed in different forms and styles in different cultures. The rites of Munay-Ki are based on initiatory practices of the Inka and Pre-Inka shamans from the Andes & the Amazon in Peru.

For years the prophecies of the ancient Americas have spoken about the possibility of a new human appearing on the planet – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. The Munay-Ki are the luminous codes for the new human. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions. They are the nine gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of homo luminous.

The Nine Rites

The first four rites are considered the Foundation Rites:

• Bands of Power--these act as filters in your Luminous Energy Field. They offer protection and help break down any negative energies that come your way.
• Healer--activates your healing powers
• Harmony--connects you to the organizing principles of the universe
• Seer--awakens your ability to perceive the invisible world of spirit

These are followed by the three Lineage Rites:

• Daykeeper--bring healing and balance to the Earth
• Wisdomkeeper--helps you to step outside of time and taste infinity
• Earthkeeper--holds stewardship of the entire Earth and brings healing and balance to any situation; helps you to dream the world into being

Concluding with the two Transformational Rites:

• Starkeeper--anchors you safely to the time after the great change that is said will occur on or around the year 2012. You acquire stewardship for the time to come and all future generations. Downloads the final codes into your (LEF) and anchors you into the future now.
• Creator--awakens the God-light within you. You acquire stewardship for all of creation.

Munay-Ki Training

This is an intensive training where you will receive all nine rites of initiation. You will learn how to transmit the rites from yourself to others. Each rite that you receive will launch you on a transformational journey. This training is based on four fundamental pillars: it awakens the seer within you, your personal healing, protection, and connection to a lineage of medicine people from the past and the future. We will explore Inka tradition and our responsibilities with stepping onto the path of Munay-Ki. We will look at each of the rites in detail and the benefits they provide.

This training consists of three separate Saturdays, held one month apart to allow you time to integrate this energy. You will receive each rite as well as training in how to share them with others. We will conclude each training day with a Fire/Drumming Ceremony as a way to honor that which we have received and that which we want to release that no longer serves us or the greater good.
